LIWONDE NATIONAL PARK TOUR REF: MVUU1 2 DAYS/1 NIGHT-depart 8am and return next day by 5pm The 580 sq km Liwonde National Park, about 3 hours south of Lilongwe, comprises one of the most diverse habitats; the scenic Shire River, backwaters and lagoons, marshes, open Savannah woodlands. The wildlife is even more varied and in greater profusion than in most other national parks.
